Are you tired of being mad at the things that are happening around the country? I for sure am!

I am mad, mad at the man who tries to separate the families of the innocent, Furious at the fact that even just leaving my house is a serious struggle for not just me but for others! I pray and ask, Why do I have to pay the price of the people who are making us look bad? They are basically saying no immigrant is a good immigrant, I am sure you heard this before! Somewhere in Berlin a strange and dangerous man said no jew is a good jew! If you have not yet realized that history is repeating itself then you must be one of those who only think of themselves.

There is a poem or a story that fascinated me because of how true and relatable it is, this is the “FIrst they Came for the Jews” poem: 

“First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for the communist and I did not speak out because I was not a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a unionist.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.”

This is one of if not the most profound poems in history because it depicts how most people don’t act until it’s too late. Don’t wait until they come for you, do it before they come for all of us! You may not be an immigrant or you might be, but this does not make us different! We all bleed the same blood!
