The Ghosts head up to the Poconos to take on the Delaware Valley Warriors in round one of the 2026 PIAA State Playoffs. Abington stands at 19-9, with a 9-3 conference record, and the #55 ranking in the state. Delaware Valley is 16-8, with a 8-7 record in the Lackawanna 1 conference, and are ranked 223rd in Pennsylvania. Delaware Valley averages 5 more points per game than the Ghosts, but Abington has over 100 more total points scored on the season. As for history, these teams haven’t crossed paths this season, and have no common opponents. However, the Warriors are 0-2 against Poconos powerhouse Abington Heights, so hopefully the Ghosts can invoke some trauma with our similar school name. The winner of this contest will move on to play the winner of Conestoga @ Parkland. Go Ghosts!
