After a home loss against Spring-Ford, the Ghosts move on to the 7th place game against the Garnet Valley Panthers looking to bounce back with state playoffs beginning soon. Abington’s record stands at 18-9, ranked 59th in the state, while Garnet Valley is 19-8 while ranked 63rd in the state. There isn’t much history between these two teams, but we can look at common opponents. Both teams have wins over Council Rock South, with Abington’s coming in the district playoffs. Both also have wins over Pennsbury, but this time Garnet Valley’s win comes in districts. Both schools have losses to Plymouth Whitemarsh and Cheltenham, but Abington’s regular season victory over Cheltenham gives them a boost. This game will be at home, so please come out and support before states if you can. Go Ghosts!
