After a 69-64 loss in an instant classic vs Coatesville, the Ghosts move onto the Playback bracket. A win in this game advances the Ghosts to the 5th place game against the winner of Garnet Valley and Cheltenham, while a loss would send them to the 7th place game to play the loser. Abington enters this matchup with a 19-8 record and ranked 54th in Pennsylvania, while Spring-Ford is 18-9 and ranked 38th. Despite the higher ranking, Abington took down Spring-Ford in the Jameer Nelson Play by Play Classic back in December with a final score of 48-39. As for common opponents, both tout wins over Wissahickon. Both schools also have losses to Suburban One League Champion Upper Dublin, but Abington’s record against the Cardinals sits at .500 after a late season win. Abington will be at home for the remainder of districts, so come out and support! Go Ghosts!
