The divisional round was a round full of mistakes by every losing team, especially at the quarterback position. The Broncos started on Saturday by beating out the Bills in overtime, with Josh Allen having 4 turnovers leading to his loss to Bo Nix, who ended up getting injured, and his backup, Jarett Stidham, playing for the AFC Championship. In the night, the Seahawks embarrassed the 49ers and Brock Purdy, running them out of the playoff room. On Sunday, C.J. Stroud decided he didn’t want to play football and kindly sent 4 turnovers to the Patriots, balancing out Drake Maye’s 3 turnovers to lose 16-28. On Sunday night, the Bears and Rams fought to overtime, occurring when Caleb Williams threw a 14-yard pass (40 if you count yards run back) touchdown. But Caleb Williams threw the game-sealing pick, and the Rams advanced to the championship game.

The Patriots come into this feeling high as a cloud, as they just passed the best defense in the league and seem to be playing a team starting their backup quarterback, Jarrett Stidham. But the Stidd man (self-given nickname) could hit hard on Sunday. The backup quarterback for the Broncos is hard to prepare for, as he has no tape from the last 2 seasons, only getting kneeling snaps the last 2 years. On the other side, for the Broncos, they have to have their defense go all out on Drake Maye to stop his own work while hoping Stidham will come out Sunday, even though Drake Maye just put up 28 on the Texans, who have been the best defense of 2025. All time, though, the Patriots are 0-2 in AFC championships against the Broncos. With this history included, even though it’s a shot in the dark, I believe Jarrett Stidham and his Broncos will stop Drake Maye and the Patriots in a battle to the end.

Rams (5) @ Seahawks (1) 6:00 PM FOX
The Seahawks arrive back at home field after a dominant destruction of the San Francisco 49ers, while the Rams were just able to sneak out a win against the Bears in overtime. But, this game will be one that will be down to the wire, as the Rams have more experience, but the Seahawks are on a train to the Super Bowl after dismantling the Bay. But the Rams offense struggled on Sunday, while the Seahawks defense thrived in their matchup, leading me to believe the defense will put the dagger in to end Matt Stafford’s MVP season and grant the Seahawks a ticket to the Super Bowl for the 4th time.

Player of the Week: Jarrett Stidham
If Stidham wins this game, he will easily be the player of the week. In other words, if the Broncos win, Stidham will come in clutch and bring the Broncos to victory, even if my thoughts may be an airball.
Game of the Week: Rams @ Seahawks
This game will be a battle to the death between divisional opponents. Both teams have played like powerhouses and to their full potential, leading me to believe this will be a legendary conference championship.
