Week 14 had many insane games. It began with the Cowboys being beaten out on Thursday and ended with their division rival Eagles, getting defeated on Monday. In the middle, the games featured had the Steelers pulling out a victory against the Ravens, the Packers beating out the Bears, and the Texans coming out over the Chiefs, all missed predictions by me.
Week 15 had a weird start. The Buccaneers are still not able to get their season back on track as they lost on a last-second field goal to the Falcons, who have already been eliminated from the playoffs. The Panthers grab the top spot in the NFC South and look to keep it Sunday. This NFL weekend will be full of surprises, especially with the return of Phillip Rivers and many more stories for Sunday.
(Week 14 record: 7-6, many unforeseen outcomes)
Browns (3-10) @ Bears (9-4) 1:00 PM FOX
While the Bears fell to the Packers on Sunday, they are still a well-run team that can win against most teams, and that definitely includes Cleveland. Shedeur will most likely have another strong game, even with the Browns’ offensive weakness, but they will go down to Chicago.
CHI 25 – 12 CLE
Ravens (6-7) @ Bengals (4-9) 1:00 PM CBS
A rematch of two weeks ago for both teams. During that game, the Ravens beat down the Bengals, and pushed them down to their 8th loss. Coming after another scathing loss in a close shootout, the Bengals have lost Trey Hendrickson, their main defensive stronghold, to injury, and their defense will not get any better. Even with Joe Burrow’s best efforts, Lamar and his group should be able to take apart the Bengals’ defense and win in a close rematch.
BAL 34 – 27 CIN
Cardinals (3-10) @ Texans (8-5) 1:00 PM FOX
The Texans are another hot team in the AFC South, looking towards an AFC South crown over the Colts and Jaguars. The Cardinals are in a horrible state with no Kyler Murray and a struggling defense, and the Texans should be able to ride their wave over the Cards.
HOU 25 – 10 ARZ
Jets (3-10) @ Jaguars (9-4) 1:00 PM CBS
The Jaguars are looking at taking the AFC South, while the Jets got blown out by the Dolphins on Sunday. The Jaguars have been playing at their peak even with Travis Hunter injured, and should grab this game by force on Sunday.
JAX 32 – 13 NYJ
Chargers (9-4) @ Chiefs (6-7) 1:00 PM CBS
The Chargers played a sloppy offensive game on Monday, barely coming out over the Eagles after Jalen Hurts’ 4 interceptions. The Chiefs, on the other side, are hungry to gain a victory, as they lost to the Texans on Sunday night, with Patrick Mahomes having a weak performance. I keep choosing the Chiefs, but this time I believe my prediction will hit, and Mahomes will defeat the Chargers this go around.
KC 25 – 23 LAC
Bills (9-4) at Patriots (11-2) 1:00 PM CBS
The AFC East is a tight race, as both the Bills and Patriots are leading the charge, with the Patriots maintaining a 2-game differential over the Bills. But after their first loss, the Bills have had a chance to learn from the Patriots, and with their season on a huge uphill climb, Josh Allen and his Bills can defeat Drake Maye’s Patriots.
BUF 32 – 28 NE
Commanders (3-10) @ Giants (2-11) 1:00 PM FOX
The Commanders, for another week, are without Jayden Daniels, fighting the Jameis Winston-led Giants. This game could really go to anyone; both teams have been playing horribly, but especially with Jameis Winston’s unpredictability, the Giants can pull off a victory at home and send the Commanders and Marcus Mariota packing at 3-11.
NYG 30 – 23 WAS
Raiders (2-11) @ Eagles (8-5) 1:00 PM FOX
The Eagles should be able to at least somewhat turn their vibes on in week 14, reminiscent of the now murdered positivity rabbit in the Eagles’ locker room. This is a perfect opportunity for the Eagles to shift their offensive plan and go in the right direction as a team. The Raiders have Kenny Pickett in at quarterback because of Geno Smith’s injury, but it should not change much, as the Eagles should be able to defeat Las Vegas in Philly handily.
PHI 33 – 10 OAK
Packers (9-3-1) @ Broncos (11-2) 4:05 PM FOX
The Broncos’ 10-game win streak should speak volumes, but I am still not jumping on the bandwagon. The Packers proved they are not fakers with a win against the Bears, and created a gap in the NFC North. Meanwhile, Denver looks to widen their gap in the AFC West. But I believe this defensive battle will end with Jordan Love and his crew coming up on top.
GB 20 – 18 DEN
Lions (8-5) @ Rams (10-3) 4:25 PM FOX
This game should be a closer battle than the record gap portrays. Both Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford are having great years, and look to defeat one another in what feels like a yearly occurrence game for these two franchises. Even though the Lions had a great showing against the Cowboys for a win last Thursday, and the Rams lost on Sunday, even a longer break for the Lions will not be able to stop the head of offensive steam the Rams possess.
LAR 32 – 27 DET
Panthers (7-6) @ Saints (3-10) 4:25 PM FOX
Even though the Saints pulled off a win on the Bucs last week, they should not replicate it this week. While I believe this, Tyler Shough has been a surprisingly quality starting quarterback, helping lead the Saints to that surprise victory, but the Panthers have still just been better. While not great, the Panthers should be able to pull out this game, especially after a victory against the Rams.
CAR 23 – 20 NO
Colts (8-5) @ Seahawks (10-3) 4:25 PM CBS
This is an almost unpredictable game. We are not sure how Phillip Rivers will play in his comeback game in Indianapolis, but this is still a difficult game to pull out, especially with a new QB. Phillip Rivers might be exciting to play, especially with some energy from his revoked retirement, but the Seahawks are strong enough to pull out this game, especially if Jaxson Smith-Njigba can get past the struggling defense of Indianapolis.
SEA 27 – 24 IND
Titans (2-11) @ 49ers (9-4) 4:25 PM FOX
Not hard to choose for this one. The Titans, even with the win against the Browns, are still an awful team, and the 49ers have been stacking up wins throughout the last couple of weeks, coming off a bye week last week. The refreshed 49ers should dismantle the Titans on Sunday.
SF 32 – 13 TEN
Vikings (5-8) @ Cowboys (6-6-1) 8:20 PM NBC
The Vikings are rolling off a domination of the Commanders on Sunday, and J.J. McCarthy and his team look to go into AT&T Stadium and defeat the Cowboys. Both these teams are desperate for wins, with the Cowboys having lost an important matchup to the Lions last Thursday. But, the Cowboys still seem like the better team and should win Sunday by their defense shutting down 9.
DAL 24 – 20 MIN
Dolphins (6-7) @ Steelers (7-6) 8:15 PM ESPN
The Dolphins are in the middle of a long, hot streak, with Tua leading the way, along with Devon Achane at the helm. The Steelers won against the Ravens in a very lucky victory, but I do not think they hold the power to extinguish the Dolphins’ fire.
MIA 28 – 23 PIT
Week 15 MVP: Jaxson Smith-Njigba
While I have chosen him before, he’s been slow as of late, but I believe he will turn his game around. The Colts do not have Sauce Gardner at corner this week, and the other cornerbacks will not have what it takes to stop Jaxson’s skill at receiver.
Game of the Week: Bills @ Patriots
The rematch between the Bills and Patriots is more important than the first. The Bills look to take the lead of the AFC East from under the Patriots’ lap, while the Patriots look to bolster their lead in the East, maybe attempting to seal the division with a victory. Whoever wins this game will be a fear for any team they would face in the playoffs, and will prove it Sunday.
