Week 10 was weird. It started and ended with two low-scoring matches, and many blowouts in the middle. The Broncos put up 10 points in an amazing defensive effort, as the Eagles won by doing the same. On Sunday, the Rams blew out the 49ers, the Lions blew out the Commanders, and the Seahawks blew out the Cardinals. A surprise in Miami came when they beat their rival, the Bills, in a blowout, and Tua got his 2nd win in 11 games against Buffalo. Overall, week 10 is not the norm, and it was a bizarre week for the NFL.
Week 11 started with the Patriots getting an expected win against the Jets. Not a strong victory, but Drake Maye and his crew got it done, going to an 8-game win streak and a record of 9-2 to begin week 11.
Week 10 record: 8-5 (Again, did not do well on the 1 o’clocks but straightened out later)
Commanders (3-7) @ Dolphins (3-7) 9:30 AM, NFL Network
Another week begins abroad as two teams with horrid records face off. While Miami has looked horrible all season, they demolished Josh Allen’s Bills on Sunday in a 30-16 victory, with Tua looking better than ever. Especially after Washington has looked so bad, having been blown out 3 games in a row, Miami will use this momentum to blow out Washington in a surprise victory.
MIA 37 – 13 WAS
Panthers (5-5) @ Falcons (3-6) 1:00 PM FOX
The Panthers went down to New Orleans, but they are not out yet. The Falcons fought hard against Indianapolis in an overtime loss, but still looked like contenders. This game will be an in-the-mud battle between two teams that always fight hard for a win or a loss, but the Panthers have the better roster, and the harder effort will help Carolina come out on top.
CAR 23 – 20 ATL
Buccaneers (6-3) @ Bills (6-3) 1:00 PM CBS
The Bills looked abysmal on Sunday, as they went down to the now 3-win Dolphins. The Buccaneers also went down to the Patriots on Sunday, so both teams are looking to bounce back. But Josh Allen, with the right feeling and a good game, is absolutely dangerous and can defeat the Bucs. This will be an absolute shootout.
BUF 35 – 30 TB
Chargers (7-3) @ Jaguars (5-4) 1:00 PM CBS
This can be the perfect bounce-back game for Trevor Lawrence and the Jags, as they can defeat a powerful opponent in the Chargers, riding high off straight good wins, including a 15-point win against the Steelers. I know I should most likely give the Jags a break since they have disappointed me 2 separate times in the last month, However, I still believe even without Travis Hunter and especially because of Hunter being missing, BTJ and the gang can have a great game and defeat LA and a hot Herbert.
JAX 27 – 20 LAC
Bears (6-3) @ Vikings (4-5) 1:00 PM FOX
While the Bears’ record looks great, do not let it fool you. While Chicago has won their games, they have not played very well, especially defensively, as the Bears barely avoided getting blown out in a close win against the Giants. But the Vikings have been absolutely atrocious, as they have gone down to 4-5 through J.J. McCarthy’s lackluster playmaking and a flurry of interceptions. Even though the Bears’ defense has not played well, an offensive effort can help Chicago take down Minnesota and strengthen their fight for the 1st seed in the NFC North
CHI 30 – 24 MIN
Packers (5-3-1) at Giants (2-8) 1:00 PM FOX
The Giants are a complete mess as of right now. After 3 blown games, the team fired their coach Brian Daboll, and has assigned their offensive coordinator Mike Kafka as their interim head coach. While the Packers are struggling offensively, as shown on Monday, they are also good defensively and can shut down whatever effort Jameis Winston has with Jaxson Dart out, and Green Bay should win on Sunday.
GB 23 – 16 NYG
Bengals (3-6) @ Steelers (5-4) 1:00 PM CBS
This is a battle of two of the worst defenses in the NFL, so this game will most definitely be high scoring. Since Joe Flacco has arrived in Cincinnati, they have been scoring almost 30+ points a game, and Aaron Rodgers has had some breakout games, too, with the Steelers, still, I expect Cincinnati to finally pull off a win after an upsetting loss to Chicago and bring the Steelers to .500.
CIN 32 – 30 PIT
Texans (4-5) @ Titans (1-8) 1:00 PM CBS
While the Texans have been underwhelming, the Titans are just an embarrassment to the NFL. Houston will win this game.
HOU 20 – 7 TEN
49ers (6-4) @ Cardinals (3-6) 4:05 PM FOX
The Cardinals were exposed against the Seahawks, almost being down by 30 points in the 1st half, but somehow got to a respectable score, and the same goes for the 49ers, who went down 21-0 and could not find a way back. In the end, the 49ers are the better team and can win this game if Mac Jones comes back to early-season form and CMC gets enough touches.
SF 23 – 17 ARZ
Seahawks (7-2) @ Rams (7-2) 4:05 PM FOX
The Seahawks come in as a surprising top team candidate, along with the Rams. Sam Darnold has been especially surprising, leading a push to be in the MVP conversation, as well as Stafford being great. This will more then likely be another high-scoring volley, with Jaxson Smith-Njigba lighting up the game, but I believe the Seahawks are just hot enough to take this game.
SEA 34 – 30 LAR
Ravens (4-5) @ Browns (2-7) 4:25 PM CBS
The Ravens have gained Lamar back, and he’s been playing at an amazing rate since his comeback. This is an easy pick, and Lamar should have a great game in the destruction of a weak Cleveland. After this beatdown, they might bench Gabriel and start Shedeur, but that’s just speculation.
BAL 30 – 10 CLE
Chiefs (5-4) @ Broncos (8-2) 4:25 PM CBS
The Broncos finished a bad offensive match against the Raiders, where Bo Nix looked horrid and they barely passed by Las Vegas. The Chiefs, on the other hand, have not been what their record says. Mahomes and his crew are still elite and should be able to defeat the Broncos in a close battle, but one Mahomes will come out on top of.
KC 23 – 20 DEN
Lions (6-3) @ Eagles (7-2) 8:20 PM NBC
The Lions demolished the Washington Commanders on Sunday, and look to defeat the Eagles, who won against the Packers in a close defensive game last week. The Lions have been hitting hard on offense, while the Eagles looked very weak on offense during last week’s game. The Eagles defense will try their best to match their amazing performance from week 10, they may not win this game from the Lions’ attack. I hate betting against my Eagles, but this is one of their hardest games, and after the struggle of last week, they will lose this game.
DET 28 – 24 PHI
Cowboys (3-5-1) @ Raiders (2-7)
This is the perfect opportunity for Dallas to get their season back on track. After getting publicly shamed two weeks ago by Arizona, Dallas gets a bye week and arrives in Las Vegas to play the team whose season has been over for 3 weeks, the Las Vegas Raiders. If Dallas cannot win this game, their season might be over.
DAL 32 – 23 OAK
Week 10 MVP: Josh Allen
Josh Allen will need a comeback after a sad loss to Miami, and winning against Tampa Bay in style can be just what he needs to get back on track.
Game of the Week: Seahawks @ Rams
While this may not be the most covered game, it has huge effects on the playoff race and especially on the NFC West. Whoever wins this game will gain an upper hand on the other strongest team and the West as a whole. To recap, the implications of this game are huge.
