Looking for a new club to join? FAAD is be a great option! If you love to work with kids or want to take the day off a school to travel back to the Abington elementary schools, then this is the perfect club for you! In FAAD, we take the role as the leaders and educators. We talk to 5th graders about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, assess them on what they know, and help answer any questions that they might have for us. We also get to spend recess and lunch with them. They also ask us lots of questions about the middle school and high school after we finish up our lesson. Another perk is we also get service hours from the trips! It is a really fun club, and if this sounds like something you would enjoy, I hope you would consider joining us! Our first interest meeting is on December 5th, but you can join at any time as long as it is before the times or the trips and you fill out the proper trip form. Trips start in February and you can choose to visit up to three schools or more! Hope to see you there!Â

Kira DeCristofaro, News & Community Editor
Hi! My name is Kira DeCristofaro and I am one of the editors for the News and Community section of The Abingtonian this year. I’m a senior and this is my 4th year writing for the newspaper! I love to write and also like to read and listen to music on my record player in my free time. I also love spending time with my friends and family. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to be an editor this year and I am very excited for what this year will bring! :)
