The 2023 Met Gala premiered on May 1st, 2023, and the theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” Here are my top ten favorite looks from the event. 

Starting off strong we have Billie Eilish honoring Karl Lagerfeld in this beautiful, black, Simone Rocha gown.

As Doja Cat takes on her first Met Gala, she is dressed in Oscar de la Renta, and in full cat prosthetics. Her outfit is paying respect to Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette.

Gigi Hadid takes on her eighth Met Gala in a sheer Givenchy dress, and in a beautiful half up, half down hairstyle.

Anne Hathaway takes on the carpet with a stunning embellished Versache tweed dress, with a matching jacket and arm bands. The dress is detailed with gold
and pearl safety pins.

Next is actor Jeremy Pope in a Balmain cape, paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, with his face emblazoned onto the cape.

Cara Devleninge wore her white shirt from Lagerfeld’s own brand, and honored him with a spin of his style, with the fingerless gloves.

Rita Ora is dressed in a sheer Prabal Gurung gown, with two long trains following behind her.

Sydney Sweeney attends her second Met Gala in a cinched Miu Miu gown with a long train.

Model Anok Yal showed up in a Prabal Gurung pannier dress, accessorizing with a mask.
