Mochi Ring

A great option for a tasty treat is Mochi Ring in Jenkintown. Here you can purchase bubble tea, mochi donuts, taiyaki ice cream, and more. I had my doubts at first, but everything lived up to or exceeded my expectations. The owners carefully created an aesthetic environment, from the soothing music, down to the Hello Kitty toilet paper. I would specifically recommend the oreo mochi donut and the rose oolong tea. The prices for donuts are $2.5/single, $12/ half-dozen, and $24/ dozen.

Simply Fruits

Located off the Jenkintown Fairway, Simply Fruits is a great place to enjoy a refreshing smoothie or smoothie bowl. While on the pricier side at around 11 dollars each, these bowls are a great way to meet the recommended amount of daily fruits! My favorite item is their chocotella, a blend of acai topped with granola, Nutella, and an assortment of fruits.

Waffle Cabin

If you’re lucky enough to come across their food truck, Waffle Cabin brings the classic ice cream and waffle combination to the streets. At only $7, this delectable snack is worth the stomach ache.

Humpty’s Dumplings

Another unique option is Humpty’s Dumplings in Keswick. These dumplings are perfect for an after-school snack or even for a meal. Some of my favorites are broccoli cheddar, honey chipotle chicken, and spinach mozzarella. Their biggest fan, my dog, always enjoys eating the leftovers!

The prices for dumplings are 6 Dumplings for $12.
