Coach Simmons and the Chess Team have seen a surge of female chess players this year.  At the 2021 Northeastern Women and Girls Regional Chess Championship on Saturday, September 25th,  Delia Jaffe, Romina Farzaneh, Tess Armon and Andi Hatton placed second as a team. They continue the fine tradition of success of Abington Chess. Congratulations to Mr. Simmons and the Chess Team for a strong start to the school year.
