Eagles 2021 Season Schedule
May 17, 2021
Attention all Eagles fans! The Philadelphia Eagles have officially released their 2021 schedule. In case you missed it, I am going to give you a full rundown on what’s going on in the 2021 NFL season!
Preseason
The preseason is right around the corner and hopefully, Nick Sirianni’s first year with the Birds is a success. Here’s what it’s looking like:
- Thursday, August 12 – The matchup of Pennsylvania with the Eagles hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers at Lincoln Financial Field at 7:30 PM.
- Thursday, August 19 – The Birds take on the New England Patriots at Lincoln Financial Field at 7:30 PM
- The details about the last game are still unknown, but it will be a battle against the New York Giants.
Regular Season
There is still time before the season officially begins and the question still remains: Will Jalen Hurts be able to pull it off this year as the starting QB? Hopefully, the offensive line is healthy enough to give Hurts the opportunity to prove himself. Also, this is the first year with an extended 17-game NFL season instead of the traditional 16-game schedule. Now, each team plays the team who finished in the same place as them in the opposite conference the previous year, so the Eagles now play the New York Jets. Also, coronavirus restrictions have eased up, meaning the Linc might hold 100% of fans for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. This is great news for players and fans alike, especially since the Eagles generally perform well in front of the home crowd. Hopefully, this Eagles season goes better than last year’s!
