Reality television star Kim Kardashian-West and musician Kanye West are rumored to be getting a divorce. Kim Kardashian obtained top celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser to represent her. The celebrity couple was married for 6 years and had four children together. Kanye West moved to his ranch in Cody, Wyoming while Kim and their children have been residing at their home in Hidden Hills, California. 2016 was a monumental year for the power couple as Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, while West canceled his Saint Pablo world tour to be hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation. In May 2019, the couple renewed their vows to honor their fifth anniversary. Page Six reported that Kanye West’s failed attempt at running for President of the United States infuriated Kardashian and led her to file for divorce.

In July of 2020, Kanye West went on a Twitter rant where he claimed that he has been attempting to get a divorce since 2018 after Kim Kardashian met with rapper Meek Mill to discuss prison reform. West claimed that Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner have him “locked up.” On the other hand, Kim Kardashian took to social media during the following days to discuss West’s mental health and his struggle with bipolar disorder. In late July, the couple was seen crying and attempting to mend their relationship in Wyoming. During the 2020 festive season, however, Kanye West did not spend time with the Kardashian family. It should be noted that in October 2020, West gifted Kardashian a hologram of her deceased father, Robert Kardashian for her 40th birthday. It is unknown what the Kardashian-West family dynamic will be moving forward.
